(1) Registration fee 

(a) Registration fee as regular or student for the conference includes followings:
*Giving oral or poster presentation (~max 3 peer-reviewed and accepted presentations).
*Access to all technical sessions (Either onsite or virtual)
*Access to the exhibition area at the conference venue (Onsite only)
*Access to the virtual exhibition.
*Download an electrical abstract book.
 
(b) Student are required to submit a copy of valid student ID (student card of official admission letter) including the expiry date onto the registration system (acceptable file type: pdf, jpeg, jpg, png & gif) upon registration, and to present the student ID at the reception desk onsite while picking up name holder and conference kit.
If you are unable to upload it onto the registration system, please send it to PVSEC-33 Registration Desk by e-mail or fax within two business days after registration completion.

(c) Registration will be completed only with full payment.
 

(2) Tutorial

Tutorial has two courses of "PV Materials" and "PV Systems". 
Date: Nov. 13 (Sun)
Style: Hybrid (Onsite and Zoom)
Details are shown in here.
Registration fee for the tutorial includes followings:
*Admission to both of the courses
*A textbook (PDF file).

(3) Networking lunch for women in photovoltaics

*Date: Nov. 15 (Tue) 12:30-13:30 (JST)
*Style: Hybrid (Onsite & Zoom)
*Onsite participation includes a lunch box (Regular or Vegetarian).

  • Note: Depending on the COVID-19 situation, the networking lunch may be changed into all-virtual style. 

This event would be good opportunity for young women in this field to feel closer to senior women (role models) working in the field of photovoltaics and also good opportunity for all participants for networking.
* For on-site attendees, a lunch box (vegetarian or standard) will be supplied.

Main schedule

* Presentation from role models (women working in the field of photovoltaics etc.) during lunch time.
* Free talking with participants (e.g. ~6 persons/group) after lunch time.

(4) Banquet

*Venue: ANA CROWNE PLAZA Hotel Grand Court NAGOYA
*Style: Seating

  • Note: Depending on the COVID-19 situation, the banquet may be canceled. In that case, the banquet fee will be refunded.

(5) Excursion

*Excursion fee: JPY7,700 (Tax inculded)
Details

Payment

No registration will be confirmed in the absence of payment.
All payment should be made in Japanese yen only.

Payment Method:

Credit Card by Online
(VISA, Master Card, American Express, Diners Club, or JCB only.)
 
*Please use a credit card which is valid at least until December 2022.
*Drawer of this online payment transaction will be “PVSEC33".
However, the company name might be slightly changed depending on the card company.
*Credit card transactions will be recorded on your credit card statement two or three month later due to system matter.
*If you would like to pay a registration fee by bank transfer, please contact the PVSEC-33 Registration Desk.

Issuance of Invoice & Receipt

You can download invoice and receipt from registration system. (We do not accept requests to send invoices and receipts via email or postal mail.)

Change & Cancellation Policy

After the payment of registration fee is completed, you cannot change nor cancel your registration status online. For change or cancellation of your registration, please contact PVSEC-33 Registration Desk with your name and registration ID (A*****).

Changes

Please contact PVSEC-33 Registration Desk with your name and registration ID for changes due to adding options of networking lunch, tutorials, and banquet. There is no commission charge for changes due to adding options.

Cancellation

If you cancel your registration by 17:00 Sept. 30 (JST=GMT+9), the balance amount of the registration fees will be refunded but the commission charges (JPY2,000) will be applied. From Oct. 1, there is no refund for cancellation. The date and time of the cancellation will be based on the working hours (Monday through Friday 9:30-17:30 [JST=GMT+9] except national holidays (Aug. 11, Sep. 19, Sep. 23, Oct. 10, Nov. 3 and Nov. 23).
After working hours, cancellation will be made next day, which may incur charges.

Cancellation Policy for Registration / Networking lunch / Tutorial / Banquet

Before Sept. 30 No charge
(*Commission fee of JPY2,000 will be deducted.)
On or after Oct. 1 100% of the registration fee/NO REFUND
 

Refund

Refunds will be made before the conference upon with deducting bank transfer fee, and/or credit card service charges and the cancellation penalties.
If payment was made by credit card, refund will be made to the same credit card.


Notice:

  • Refund of your payment will not be conducted automatically.
    If refund occurs due to the change or cancellation of your registration, please contact PVSEC-33 Registration Desk with your name and registration ID.
  • Due to the system setting, only full-amount refund is available. If any partial refund should be made for change and/or cancellation, the registration desk will firstly make a full-amount of refund to the registered credit card and charge the amount after deducting change or cancellation penalty.

Registration Desk Onsite

The registration desk will be open from Nov. 12 to 17.
All participants, who have registered through the conference website are requested to stop by the reception desk to pick up your name holder and conference kit.
Open hours will be announced later.

Visa

If applicants would like to ask us for assistance in obtaining visa, applicants must meet all of the following requirements.
  1. You are among the author(s) in the accepted abstract
  2. You have completed the online registration.
  3. Your registration fee has been paid.
 

For your information, single-entry visas are valid for 3 months upon issue.
